Nasturtium Flowers
$12.50Price
Fresh harvested from our own herb farm, 100 %organic The nasturtium is a hardy annual that grows by climbing and sprawling. It produces beautiful flowers that can be put to great culinary use, and the leaves are also edible. Flowers should be harvested just as they open. Smaller flowers are usually best for eating, while larger flowers are better as garnishes or for being ripped apart and chopped or minced. One can use the leaves in salads and they make a good substitute for watercress. The leaves have a hot, peppery taste. Simply chop them up and add to the salad.
